The PRC Announces Its New Management Team

June 21, 2022

The following appointments are effective immediately, and the current Executive Committee is hereby dissolved:

Jim Mallory will serve as Club President. Jim has been active in the Club as a coach since 2017 and for the last two years as a member of the Executive Committee.

Joe Potts, Marie Tsuji, and Dan Klein will serve as Directors of our Elementary, Middle, and High School Programs, respectively. All three have prior coaching experience and will also coach a team this year.

Jason Ferris will become Technology Director. Jason is a true long-termer. He has coached teams since 2015, is a member of the Executive Committee, and will coach again this year.

Sarah Orr will serve as Event Partner. Sarah coached last year and will do so again this year. She also assumed the role of Event Partner for the Club's Inaugural Tournament last January.

Lisa Cook will serve as Communications Coordinator and as Assistant Treasurer (see below). Lisa has been an active Club volunteer for over two years. She will be assisted by Sarah Orr.

Shannon Fritz will serve as Volunteer Coordinator. Like her management team colleagues, she also coached last year and will coach again this year.

Susan Prentice-Sao has agreed to serve as Engineering Notebook Coach. Susan is another long-term friend of the PRC. Susan has been learning about notebooks since her sons started robotics in 2016. She has judged at multiple local and state robotics tournaments.

The Fundraising Director position is currently open.

Joe Gentile will serve (temporarily) as Treasurer, and will be assisted by Lisa Cook, who will assume the position within the next several months.

We thank each and all members of our management team for assuming these responsibilities on our behalf, and we wish them continued success.

We also sincerely thank everyone who, over the past ten years, has volunteered their time, and worked so intently, to make our Club what it has become today. What started as one middle school team in 2012 has become 21 teams in 5 schools (plus 4 drone teams) involving over 70 families and 25 coaches. Each and every one of you have played some role in making this possible. We are confident you will each do your part to ensure our Club's successes continue.
