Cooper VEX IQ Team "The Rocket" placed 8th in the Skills competition, and 12th place overall, at the River Raisin/Knabusch VIQC Slapshot ES Michigan State Championship in Monroe, Michigan on Saturday, March 11 and earned an invitation to the 2023 VEX Robotics World Championship to be held May 2 - 4 in Dallas, Texas. Team members (L/R) are Nevin Berneis-Emmons, Briana Ryan, and Parker Dahlquist. The team is coached by Shannon Ryan.
Gilkey Team “Gearheads” and Cooper Team “TP Titans” also participated, and finished in 11th and 15th place, respectively, in the 44-team event.
"Gearheads" team members are Jackson Stull and Mason Potts, and their coach is Joe Potts.
"TP Titans" team members are Parker Edds, Dylan Larsen, and Emmett Preuninger. The team coach is Kevin DeKryger.
